Great story told of claudia and michael. Aiden an evil fallen angel is after claudia and want to kill her to get his powers back. She has yet to be at peace to find herself. This is where she discovers powers and unfortunately sometimes life isn't fair and they both had to go their separate ways but not because they chose to. That part saddens me but i sure hope they figure it out on the next. Definitely recommemd this book. You will laugh, get heart broken, smile, and be in awe. If you love books of angels and demons fighting and romance then this books is for you. You won't be disappointed.Product details

The world Mary has created from her dreams has sucked me in and made me feel a part of it! I LOVE the characters. She has made me feel as if they are my best friends! On the outside, Claudia looks and acts like your typical teenage girl, but unknowingly, she is really so much more! This is what you are going to find with many of Mary's characters, that there is so much more to know!
There are the Humans that aren't quite human, the Angels that aren't quite all angel and the Demons that used to be angels! So, once you think you've got it all down, it gets shaken up all over again!
What is nice about Mary's writing is that you don't need a scorecard of who's who to follow along. Each character has been given such a unique personality that let me create a clear picture in my mind of who they are and what they look like. Aside from my "forbidden love" power couple, Michael and Claudia, I think my favorite character is Davin. He is everybody's all-american angel. The first with the quick wit, bright smile and always a funny quip on his lips!
Like a special friend you haven't seen in awhile, you jump in right where you left off. That comforting relationship of a friend sharing stories that take you in and want you leaving more! Wonderful second book in the series Crossroads! Can't put it down! My friend Claudia is back again and has brought along a whole new set of angels with her!

However long will be too long. That's what Michael tells Claudia every time he has to leave. It definitely picks up where Crossroads left off. I smiled thru this book, laughed because Devin is just the funniest, cutest Alkin, and cried like a baby towards the end. Claudia has now met a Venator named Austin who is a demon killer. He has been assigned by Claudia's Gramma as her protector on earth since she has passed on. Michael is not happy about this because he is her guardian angel and feels jealousy over the fact that Austin may not be the one to be around Claudia because he doesn't trust him. Claudia finds herself at times drawing closer to Austin but telling herself it isn't right and wants only to be friends with him, although Austin would like more than a friendship. Claudia starts discovering powers she didn't know she had and has the opportunity to use them. Where ever Claudia is, demons will follow because of how special she is and this book proves to be so worthwhile, I wanted more. I'm not going to be the spoiler so don't expect it from me, but know you won't be able to put the book down as I read it in one day. Mary Ting went beyond the call of writing a best seller on this one. She never ceases to amaze me. There has to be a 3rd book and I can't wait for it. Wonderful story.
I woke up Saturday morning to finish reading this book.
By 905 I was crying into my cup of coffee with my husband staring at me like I had lost my mind.
I tried explaining but gave up and told him to read the book himself. )
With that said, this book was Amazing. Fantastic. Superb. I can't even find a word fitting for the second installment of this series. (I just finished the 3rd one as well and - seriously, if it was a movie I would have been screaming at the TV.)
Claudia and Michael's story will rip your heartstrings out and make you want to curse. You cross your fingers and hold your breath.
I don't want to give away any spoilers. I can say that the battle for evil continues in this book and so does the battle for love. I love the closeness of the characters and the friendship/family relationship they create amongst themselves.

I had to start this one immediately after reading Crossroads and it didn't disappoint. Claudia's life isn't in immediate danger so she is to live life like normal. She won't see her guardians as often. At least until she is once again in trouble which seems to happen to her a lot. There is a new threat that will force two groups to work together who don't play well with others. The whole group is back and determined to keep Claudia safe as her power grows, but will it be enough?
Claudia is coming into her own and I love that. The author did a good job surprising me on several occasions through this story. We met some new characters, some I loved, and some I despised. Michael is still more determined than ever to keep Claudia safe. Davin is back and better than ever, along with the rest of the crew. I absolutely hated/loved the ending of this book.
A 5/5 and I cannot wait to continue the series!
